Privacy Policy and disclosure pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

This page describes the methods and purposes of managing the site with reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it and register. 

The information is general, written in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) for those who consult this website, at the address:https://www.freeheartinpeace.org/   of the Marian Community "Oasi della Pace", hereinafter referred to as the "Community".

 

This disclosure also concerns personal data acquired through simple communication in the form of e-mail sent by the data holders to the addresses of the Community indicated on the site. Personal data such as: name, surname, address, telephone, mobile phone, if present in the signature of the message, are to be considered provided with consent to data processing and will enter the Community's computer archives.

Data controller

The person responsible for the processing of personal data pursuant to and for the purposes of EU Reg. 2016/679 is the Marian Community "Oasi della Pace" – strada grotti di torri, 54, 02032 Fara in Sabina (RI), in the person of Sohyun Yim (Sr. Faustina Yim).

Type of data processed

The Community, in order to organize the realization of events, processes personal data, and collects details of identity documents. Furthermore, for purposes of promotion, publicity of events, dissemination, journalistic and various purposes, it may film and record phases of organized events in any audiovisual form.

 

Data of minors

 

The site is aimed primarily at a general public, but also at all children who, from the age of 14 onwards, intend to participate in the events organized by the Community. In the case of minors, personal data (name, surname, telephone number, email address, etc.) may only be communicated with the written authorization of the parents or guardians.

Purpose of the treatment

The data provided will be retained by the Data Controller for the following purposes and in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR):

 1. carry out the operations necessary for registration on the site, which allows you to send contact requests;

 2. use the data that have been released by the interested party in the context of services provided by the site including the sending of newsletters;

 3. allow donations to be made;

 4. access accounts on third party services (social networks);

 5. install technical and analytics cookies on the user's device;

 6. make the data available to third parties for purposes instrumental to what is strictly necessary to implement the services requested by the interested party or to implement legal provisions;

 7. for information purposes on the initiatives promoted by the Community by sending emails, text messages, postal mail, etc., only if expressly authorised;

 8. execute requests to exercise the rights of the data subject;

 9. ensure correct and lawful processing of data, safeguarding confidentiality, also by applying suitable security measures.

 

The forms to be filled in provide data that are strictly necessary to comply with what is of interest and the failure to provide which does not allow the request to be processed, but also data for optional provision. All treatments carried out within this site will be carried out with electronic or telematic tools, with logics related to the purposes for which the data were collected and in compliance with current safety standards, for the specified purposes.

Provision of data and consequences of any refusal

Without prejudice to the right of the interested party to consent to the processing of their data, as regards the data that the Community is obliged to know, in order to fulfill its purposes, as well as the obligations established by laws, regulations and community legislation, their failure to provide them by the interested party will make it impossible to establish or continue the relationship, within the limits in which such data are necessary for the execution of the same. The interested party has and maintains the full right, at any time, to revoke their consent to the processing (consent acquired by registering on the site and/or on the occasion of events), without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing provided before such revocation.

Processing methods and technologies used

Data processing takes place through the use of tools and procedures suitable for guaranteeing security and confidentiality and can be carried out both on paper and with the aid of electronic instruments. Access to the website activates methods of automatic collection of information (technical cookies) necessary for correct navigation on the aforementioned sites which are automatically canceled upon expiry or when the session is closed. For third-party cookies (for example Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), the site does not have direct control of individual cookies and cannot control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). However, the user can manage these cookies through the browser settings.

Communication and dissemination of data

The data provided will not be subject to communication or dissemination outside the Community. However, the processing of personal data, for the purposes set out above, may also be carried out by natural or legal persons who, on behalf and/or in the interest of the Community, provide specific processing services or who carry out related, instrumental or support activities. Therefore, the data may be communicated for the same purposes indicated, also to: – anyone who is a legitimate recipient of communications required by law or regulation (such as, for example: offices and public authorities); – anyone who is the recipient of communications necessary to fulfill the obligations deriving from the services provided; companies and/or collaborators for the management of administrative services which are used to fulfill one's legal obligations - other subjects (companies, companies, natural persons) who collaborate in the realization of the services and the purposes indicated.

 

By registering for the event, the user expressly authorizes the organizers to film and record the phases of the event in any audiovisual form and also authorizes the use in any form of the material concerning him for purposes of promotion, publicity of the event, dissemination, journalistic and other purposes.

Rights of the interested party

At any time, the interested party may exercise the rights provided pursuant to articles from 15 to 22 of EU Regulation n. 2016/679, such as the right to:

a) request confirmation of the existence or otherwise of your personal data;

b) obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be communicated and, when possible, the retention period;

c) obtain the rectification and cancellation of data;

d) obtain the limitation of the treatment;

e) oppose the treatment at any time;

f) withdraw the consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on the consent given before the revocation;

g) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Storage period

Based on the purposes identified, the following data retention periods are defined:
1. registration on the site: until the user requests cancellation;
2. services provided by the site (including newsletters): up to the user's request for cancellation;
3. donations: for the periods identified by law;
4. access to accounts on third party services (social networks): until canceled by the user;
5. installation of technical and analytics cookies on the user's device: until canceled by the user
6. make the data available to third parties for purposes instrumental to what is strictly necessary to execute the services requested by the interested party or to implement legal provisions: up to the request for cancellation by the user or for the periods identified by the law;
7. execute requests to exercise the rights of the interested party: up to the request for cancellation by the user.

Transfer of data processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

The use of the WIX platform for the provision of the service could lead to the transfer of data processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). This possible transfer takes place: where there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission, on the basis of this provision; where instead there is no adequacy decision, the transfer takes place on the basis of applicable Standard Contractual Clauses (i.e. the applicable form of the Standard Contractual Clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council as of 4 June 2021 as well as the ICO International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses version B 1.0, effective as of 21 March 2022, revised at Section 18 of the Mandatory Terms).
